AP Computer Science A
Welcome to AP Computer Science A. Most of our time will be spent writing Java code. There will be lessons, exercises, quizzes, and test. You may need to work on your assignments outside of class, which is typical for an AP class. Please let me know if the schedule becomes too difficult.
As soon as you can, join our Google Classroom, our Remind, and our Project STEM class. (Please join Remind even if you do not carry a phone. It is set up to work with email too.)

Join Project STEM. This is the online course. We will use it every day, all year long.
- Project STEM signup info (all periods)
- Go to the Project STEM signup page.
- Click the "Sign Up with Google" link.
- On the "Sign Up with Google" page, enter your complete PSUSD email address. (Be sure you include the "@" sign and the "psusd.us" domain.) Click Next.
- On the "Welcome" page, enter your PSUSD password. Click Next.
- On the "Complete Sign Up" page, select "Student" in the Account Type drop-down. Do not change your first or last name. Click the "I agree to Project STEM's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" checkbox. Then, click the blue "Go to my account" button.
- On the Project STEM dashboard, click the "Join New Class" drop-down, and enter this section token: 5F3224
- Still on the Project STEM dashboard, click "Join New Class" to complete the sign-up process.
- Click "Courses" in the Navigation menu in the left column, and choose AP Computer Science A.
- Go to the Project STEM signup page.
* To join your Remind class, use these instructions.
IMPORTANT: The RMHS Parent/Student Handbook requires that students wear IDs on lanyards while on campus. This includes Room 608. If you arrive at our door without an ID, I will remind you that you need one (or that day's wristband from Discipline), and you will not be admitted until you have an ID.
